Privacy Policy — Kid Happy Garden

1. The short version

Kid Happy Garden is made for children aged 2–7 and the grown-ups who look after them.
Children never need to give us any personal information. Games, storybooks and videos work without an account.
We only collect information from adults (parents, carers, teachers) when they ask us for something: a free pack, a purchase or a classroom licence.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not show personalised ads to anyone.

Payments are handled by Stripe, through its Link service, which acts as the merchant of record: Stripe processes the payment, calculates and pays sales tax or VAT, and sends the receipt. Stripe uses your payment data under its own privacy policy. We never see or store full card numbers.

3. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The site does not ask children for names, photos, voice, location or contact details.
The family profile and taste passport (nickname, age group, emoji, foods tried) are stored only in your browser on your device. They are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser data or using "Start over".
If we ever offer online accounts, they will be grown-up accounts only, with verifiable parental consent where the law requires it (for example COPPA in the US), and we will store as little as possible: a nickname and an age range, never a child's full name, birthday or photo.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary storage: remembering your language and the family profile in your browser (no consent needed, no data sent to us).
Analytics: none. If we add cookies that need consent, we will ask first and you can say no.
No advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Videos

Our videos are published on YouTube as "Made for Kids". When you watch them on YouTube or embedded on our site, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. On YouTube, personalised ads and comments are turned off for Made for Kids content.

6. Who we share data with

Only service providers that help us run Kid Happy Garden, under contracts that protect your data: hosting (Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), e-mail sending (Resend) and our accountant. Some of them may process data outside the EU/EEA; in that case we rely on approved safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We never sell personal data.

7. How long we keep it

Newsletter e-mail: until you unsubscribe.
Orders and invoices: as long as tax law requires (usually 11 years in Croatia).
Messages: up to 2 years.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time (every e-mail has an unsubscribe link). Write to hello@kidhappygarden.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Croatia: AZOP, the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency).

9. AI

Character pictures and voices are made with AI tools. Stories, facts and safety notes are written and checked by people. We do not use your data to train AI models.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell subscribers by e-mail.
